Shinra is the central protagonist of one of the best science fiction anime series, Fire Force. Kusakabe Shinra, being an aspiring hero, works for Special Fire Force Company 8 as a third and fourth-generation pyrokinetic. He joined the Special Fire Force after the death of his family in order to stay true to his ambition of becoming a hero, protecting others from Spontaneous Human Combustion, and discovering the truth about his mother’s and brother’s alleged untimely demise twelve years ago. Deserving of the job, Shinra is courageous, intelligent, self-assured, and an individual who is always eager to assist others. He is quite proud of his dream of becoming a hero, which he promised to his mother when he was just five years old.

Shinra is someone who isn’t afraid to take tough decisions when the circumstances demand it. Shinra Kusakabe, a pure-hearted, powerful third-generation pyrokinetic also known as Devil’s Footprints due to his ability to light his feet on fire, joins the Special Fire Force organization. Shinra is resolved to become a hero who will rescue the lives of people threatened by the Infernals. His goal is to uphold the brigade’s responsibility to extinguish the fiery Infernals and lay their souls to rest.

Fire Force

What Shinra envisioned was a hero’s adventure, but what he comes across is much different from his expectations. The Fire Force is a jumbled tangle of fighting brigades with bizarre Infernal sightings becoming very common around Tokyo. Fate takes a turn for the worse as Shinra comes across a secretive organization claiming to have answers to the mysterious fire that killed Shinra’s family 12 years ago. Thus begins the journey of Shinra as he tries to find the truth behind the burning riddles that have kept him in the dark, despite the various challenges that he faces from outside as well as within the Special Fire Force.
