Mushoku Tensei: Quest of Memories’ 1st Trailer Reveals PS5 Release

Bushiroad has released the first trailer for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Quest of Memories, the upcoming RPG inspired by the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime adaptation. While there’s no gameplay footage, the video teases some of the game’s environments and reveals that it will depict both the adventures of Dead End as well as that of Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand. 

Additionally, the trailer’s description reveals that the Lancarse-developed game will be available on PS5 in addition to the previously announced PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam platforms. The release date is still listed as “coming soon.”

The Studio Bind-produced Mushoku Tensei anime first ran from 2020 to 2021 with two split cours. The second season, which is directed by the first season’s assistant director Hiroki Hirano, premiered earlier this month. It will also have two split cours, with the second cour to debut in April 2024. 

The anime is based on the KADOKAWA-published isekai light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote with illustrations from Shirotaka, which are published under the MF Books label. The light novels, which ended in November 2022 with 26 volumes, have inspired a manga adaptation and multiple spin-offs. Mushoku Tensei began in 2012 as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou.
