Plot Summary: Welcome to the fascinating world of Gensokyo, home to youkai (the term for spiritual creatures of all kinds), animals, and some humans. It is completely separated from our world by a magical barrier. Reimu Hakurei is the only gateway that connects the two worlds. Reimu Hakurei is a maiden who works at the shrine. Whenever a supernatural cause problem (known as an "incident") arises, Reimu hopes to work with a friend to investigate, eliminate the cause, and bring Gensokyo back into equilibrium.
