The third season announcement

Anime W Trigger also announced the third season’s coming on Twitter.

“World Trigger 3rd season will be broadcast on TV Asahi series from October 2021! Stay tuned for the 3rd season broadcast,” the tweet read.

“Photos of Tomo Muranaka, Yuki Kaji, and Nobunaga Shimazaki, who took the stage at Anime Japan, are now available!” it continued.

It dropped three screenshots from World Trigger Season 3, giving a glimpse of what will happen next.

“First public release! #WorldTrigger For everyone looking forward to the 3rd season, the cut under development is specially released!” it said.

“It is a cut that makes you look forward to the B-rank battle that will be held in the 3rd season! Please look forward to the broadcast from October 2021,” it added.

Three screenshots from the next season

The first screenshot shows Ko Murakami and Kageura’s face-off, as the initial tries to cut the latter with his sword.

According to Epic Dope, this may be the final battle of the B-rank wars, featuring Kageura versus Murakami versus Tamakoma.

The second screenshot, features a depressed Chika Amatori, holding a cup in her hands. She may be starting to worry about her upcoming fight with Kageura and Murakami.

Chika has almost lost to Murakami and Kageura before. This snap only implies that she will play an important role in World Trigger Season 3.

Lastly, the third screenshot gives a glimpse of Yuma Kuga and Chika in their combat suits. By the looks of it, these two are ready for B-rank wars’ last battle against the enemies.

Third season details

Morio Hatana will be directing World Trigger Season 3 at Toei Animation, per AniTrendz. Hiroyuki Yoshino handles the scriptwriting, while Toshihisa Kaiya is responsible for the character’s designer, and Kenji Kawaki will be the music composer.

Tomorrow X Together will sing the opening theme song, “Force.” Kami wa Saikoro o Furanai, alternatively, performs the ending theme song, “Mirai Eigo.”

In addition, Tomo Muranaka, Yuuki Kako, and Nao Tamura will reprise their roles as Yuuma, Osamu, and Chila. Fans will also see Yuuichi Nakamura and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuuichi and Hyuse again.

World Trigger Season 3 will be out in October.
