She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wiseman Anime New Trailer Confirms January 2022 Premiere

The TV anime adaptation of Hirotsugu Ryusen’s She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wiseman fantasy light novel series has revealed a new trailer confirming its January 2022 premiere date.

The story centers on Sakimori Kagami, a veteran player of VRMMORPG Arch Earth Online. One day he falls asleep playing the game one night, and awakens inside the game’s world as his character, a cute young girl.

The anime was originally set to premiere in 2021, but has been delayed. Jormungand director Keitaro Motonaga is directing the anime at Studio A-Cat. Absolute Duo scriptwriter Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of the series composition. Kumi Horii is designing the characters,

▍Synopsis

Sakamori Kagami was one of the top players in the VRMMO Ark Earth Online as Danblf, a veteran summoner with the gravitas to match his elite status. When he falls asleep playing one day, he’s transported to a world where the game is reality—but instead of his all-powerful avatar, he’s stuck in the body of a cute young girl! He can’t let anyone know that this little cutie is really Danblf, so he takes the name “Mira” and claims to be Danblf’s disciple. If this gets out, he’ll never live it down!
