Light Novel 'Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo' Gets TV Anime
Publisher Shufunotomo announced a television anime adaptation of Shachi Sogano's Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo (A Harem in a Fantasy World Labyrinth) light novel on Saturday.
Synopsis
Struggling with life and society, high school student Michio Kaga wanders about the Internet and lands on an odd website. The website, featuring a number of questions and a point based system, allows one to create skills and abilities for a character. Upon completing his character, Kaga was transported to a game-like fantasy world and reborn as a strong man who can claim idol-level girls. Thus begins the cheat and harem legend of a reborn man!
Sogano began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website under the original title Isekai Meikyuu de Dorei Harem wo (Slave Harem in a Fantasy World Labyrinth) in April 2011. Shufunotomo began printing the series though its Hero Bunko imprint the following December, featuring illustrations by Douji Shiki (Full Metal Panic!). The 11th volume will ship on December 28. The light novel has a cumulative 1.8 million copies of its volumes in print.
Hyouju Issei (Seireitsukai no Blade Dance, MM manga) began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Ace magazine in in April 2017. Kadokawa released the sixth volume on August 26.
